{Road Trip} UP Diliman, Quezon City

We love going to University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.  Before Julia was born, Don and I go to UP Diliman to run.  Well, he runs and I eat squid balls (wearing my running outfit, of course!).   Don likes to run there because there is a designated bikers/runners lane within the academic oval.  Every Sunday, there is a portion of the academic oval where vehicles are not allowed to pass to give way to the runners and bikers.  So, scenic view + fresh air + safety + free entrance = perfect Sunday morning family routine.

Needless to say, when Julia was born, we bring her to UP Diliman.  While Don does his usual running, Julia and I either play, walk or sleep.  However, lately, she would sleep as soon as we get there.  And, like an alarm clock, she would wake up as soon as Don has finished exercising.  It's like she knows that it is time for her to bond with her daddy.  She loves to walk with Don at the sunken garden or around the academic oval.  As for me, I still love to eat squid balls, taho or karioka.  But this time, I eat them while watching two people I love the most enjoying their time together.

Here are some photos of our visits in UP Diliman:
